How to find us

Amersham Museum is part of an original Tudor hall house, tucked away just behind more modern buildings at 49 High Street, Old Amersham, HP7 0DP.   View map

By train or bus

There are several local bus services which go through Old Amersham.  If you are coming by train from London, Chiltern Rail trains from Marylebone or the Metroplitan line from Baker Street go to Amersham-on-the-Hill.  From the station, there are buses to Old Amersham or you can walk down Station Hill or through Rectory Woods to Old Amersham.

Access

The ground floor of the museum is fully accessible to those in wheel-chairs. Access to the first floor is limited but information on exhibits is provided on the ground floor. A ramp is available to help with access to our garden. The on-site toilet facilities are not accessible however there are accessible toilets within Old Amersham. The Museum has low doorways and beams throughout.

Parking

Free parking is available in the High Street. The nearest car park is just off the Broadway, about 400 yards from the Museum; this car park includes some designated disabled spaces.
