Winter evening talks in the Museum for 2012
For the first quarter of 2012, talks have been arrranged on the second Thursdays of the month:
- 12th January – St Mary’s Church, Old Amersham by Rev Tim Harper. He will talk about the church’s history and place in the community over time.
- 9th February - The Metropolitan Railway through Amersham by Ian Arthurton, a trustee of LT Museum. Ian will also outline early plans to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Underground in 2013.
- 8th March – Chiltern Painters - Michael Hawker, the owner of the Hawker Gallery in Old Amersham, will delve into the lives and skills of the many artists who have lived and worked in the Chilterns.
